cd-key unauthenticated

               i don't know why but when i try to enter into a server it shows me that my cd-key is unauthenticated, but it can't be because i played with that cd-key from 4 years.

               I thought the latest patch 1.69? meant that we didn't need to use cd keys anymore to install the game?
