Names error

Hi all!


 


 


 


 


Im having an error that i didnt have before.


 


When i  copy a creature/placeable or a piece of conversation paste it and rename it as a new blueprint or conversation branch. It shows me in the toolset asi if the text was changed... but not in the game.


 


For example i edited a copy of a cow with animal properties, changed name stats and appearance to a chicken. But when i go to the game the chicken its named cow. And so on with everything i copy seems to have the name of the copied item. And yes im sure i change the names.


 


 


Whats the problem?

Are you changing the cow in the palette, or in the area?


 


If you painted a copy of the creature, before making edits to it in palette, then the non-edited version will remain in the area.


The changes will only be reflected in newly spawned cows, eg: from Encounters or scripts.


 


If you change the cow in the palette, you need to right click on it, and update instances
