For some strange reason, my toolset no longer lets me adjust fog clip distance to less than 30. I use to be able to set it to 1.
any ideas?

Honestly, I don't recall it ever having been possible. Though you can get the same result of a completely flat colour screen by setting strength up to 200, or as high as it'll go - can't remember the specific value. I've used that specific trick via a timed script to give the player a fade-to-white on entering a portal.

SHOVA, did you perhaps have an engine hack that allowed you to achieve it?

henesua, that may be it.. I recently upgraded my computer, and perhaps did not get the same stuff I had before, though it must have been an override.

You can set the fog distance also using GFF editor, it is in .are file. Not sure if it works though, toolset shows 30 nevertheless.
