   Hello,

in the Bioware Premium Module Infinite Dungeons there are some puzzles to resolve. One of them is regard to 49 crystal globes, in a 7x7 square, that must all be lighted up.

The near introductory big book says so:

Volume: It is written:

Touch a globe to make it change,

Then all surrounding will rearrange,

If you can solve this then you are more skilled,

Than the last adventurer, who got himself killed.

I'd give you a clue, but I find, without a doubt,

Making it work is easier than working it out.

There is a solution; I hope you can find it,

Oh, by the way, you just stepped in orc poo.

How can this puzzle be resolved, and/or do you know where the solution can be found ?

Greetings

Infinite Dungeon Premium Module: Crystal Globes Puzzle to resolve

   Hello,

all right, in regard to the puzzle solving a videoguide present on Youtube has been useful: in the video “Bormac’s Infinite Dungeons 5” (at this web address) it is possible to find indeed at least one possible solution for this Crystal Globes Puzzle.

The target for the puzzle solution is to activate the Globes, that is to click on them making them to be on or off depending their current state, so that finally all them be on.

Then, to solve the puzzle, considering the 49 Crystal Globes disposed in a 7 x 7 square where rows are labelled with letters from A to G, and columns are labelled with numbers from 1 to 7, as shown in the figure that follows,

go in the situation where there are only two adjacent globes in on state, and they are placed near and perpendicularly to a square side, one position immediately aside of the bottom-right corner, and that is F6 and G6. Thereafter activate the globes, in the following succession: D1, C2, B3, A4, A5, C3, D3, E1, F1, E2, F3, E4, G3, G2, G4, E5, E6, F5, G6, F7, A7, B7, C6 and finally C5. Resolved ! smile.gif

[Reference: youtube video “Bormac’s Infinite Dungeons 5”, from time/position 2 minutes 22 seconds, or 2 minute 46 seconds, to time/position 5 minutes 28 seconds, then the above succession follows, till to finish]

I must say that I have resolved the first puzzle occurrence I have met following just all the steps described above.

This puzzle, as the other different ones present in the Bioware Premium module Infinite Dungeons, appears more times in the gameplay, and the next times I have resolved it in a few steps simply activating at random the Crystal Globes; and really one time I have found the puzzle already solved just after entering the area where it is situated: this because the initial puzzle disposition is random every time said area is entered.

The other different puzzles present in the gameplay are simpler to resolve.

At present time I am still playing this Bioware Premium module Infinite Dungeons, and even for some time per day. I do not know when I will end, I am arrived to the third level of the fourth dungeon, but the time to finish should not be long.
