Is the NWN1 Hall of Fame updating?

               I've noticed that the NWN2 Hall of Fame has not been updating in accordance with the standards for the last few months.  I was wondering if the same thing is happening for NWN1 modules.

               No NWN1 Hall of Fame either. It looks like Maximus does not have enough time to pick the entries.
Try emailing him, maybe giving him ready list of what entries should gain HoF status.

               I did email him about it a week or so back with an offer to help.  He seemed to indicate the system was automated, so I was wondering if it was just NWN2 that wasn't updating, or both NWN1 and 2.  Thanks for the response.  I recently got an out of office autoreply from Maximus, so maybe he has been gone this whole time, which would explain why I haven't received a reply about it.

Hmmm... I have the instructions here somewhere....

The automated part is that any project with enough votes [edit:25 votes above 8.0 and available for at least 3 months (and 2500 downloads for modules) ] gets promoted to an "eligible" list that some poor sap, er soul, needs to confirm :-P

I'll check it out.
I confirmed a couple NwN1 HoF votes a couple weeks ago.
I'll check out the NwN2 projects and see if any are on the "eligible" list...

[edit: Hmmm, looks like a bit of a backlog, there. It's supposed to only be the top 3 in any category per month, but some (of the NwN1) have been eligible for years (Kingmaker with 120 votes?!). So, I inducted them all. 

I'll follow the guidelines in the future, but hiccoughs at the Vault shouldn't delay recognition of merit, IMO.]

As I'm helping Maximus out, you can just PM me here. Sadly, that is more reliable than the vault email system :-(

Really? Do you have evidence of this? Back logged as far as updating things perhaps, but that certainly in no way equates to unreliable. Now Maxam and recently Rolo have dedicated a portion of there already limited and UNPAID time in RL to help get things done on the Vault (not to mention the things Rolo is doing here). So if you've evidence of this "so called" unreliability, then, please, please, please please share your infinate wisdom with the rest of us mere mortals that we may avoid the pitfalls you speak. Lacking such ... go troll elsewhere. You posts criticizing and nitpicking others, usually with unfounded slurs as here, are getting quite tedious. Just because you harbor a long deepseated grudge against the NWN Vault (having pulled your submissions in the past due to low scores or lack of votes) in no way makes it "unreliable" as you've stated.
