Zorco's Keep
« on: January 20, 2011, 10:13:33 pm »

For my games at home I've been using Zorco's Keeps as a storage method.  It is trul magnificent and a great joy to have.  As far as I can tell in the Toolset it is CEP 1.5.  If I add the CEP 2.whatever HAKS in the module properties-custom content section then will CEP 2 items become visible in the Keeps?  Most of my forays into the tooldet have been failures.  I looked on the vault and there's been no activity in the comments section for Zorcos for a long time so I thought I would ask here.

No tech here but I doubt, if Zorco's Keep is 1,5 only, you could see anything newer in it, until ZK itself gets eventually updated.

Nothing but my 2 cents, until some real brain shows up.

               Sorry, no.

Cep 1.X and CEP 2.x are completely different things.

You can add CEP 2.x to the module if you like, but it will ruin the appaearance of the many custom items which depend on CEP 1.x. You can't have both on the same module without some negative effect ( tho your computer will probably not explode *grin* ). You will however get your CEP2.x items showing properly.

(I am supposed to be finishing a series of reviews for the Reviewers Guild on the various character creators/utility modules that exist (PGCC, Zorcos, Hall of adavnced training, etc, etc ) but my RL is a nightmare atm soooo it is on indefinite hold. (apologies to authors and readers).

Have fun '<img'>

The only recently updated character creators/utility module I know of is the
Pretty Good Character Creator / Customizer, by styzygy & hohos,
The 22°) in my "add-ons" list below, up to CEP 2,0 only I think, the one I'm using.
And it's got a special chest to store all items you wanna keep as well.
Just in case.
Easier to use than "Zorco's Keep" which is almost a module by itself.

The great thing about Zorco's is when friends come over to play on the LAN I can let them go through the chests and get some supplies.  My 9 year old niece loves that but you have to tell her to put stuff back when she's done with it.  "Don't leave your Will of Loth whip on the floor!"

Ah, girls, don't tell me... 9 years old, with a whip already, nice start! That's too funny.

You're right, I forgot: Online is the only true NWN.

One day, maybe, if I ever get my guts back...
