               Black Thorn by El Dano.
Angel Falls by thegeorge.

Both are high-quality modules that put the PC in the role of a detective solving a murder mystery.

Almraiven in part fits into this category, too, although it's not your average who dunnit story and it's part of a series. But there's mystery and you get to investigate crime scenes, interrogate NPCs and examine evidence. And it's an immersive high quality storytelling and puzzle module straight out of the Hall of Fame.

Also Revenant, a murder mystery where you get to play investigator and victim at the same time. '<img'>
I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for - the case is not all that complicated - but it's definitely worth playing, too.
