               I tried the give gold. The computer recognized the command without an amount of gold. Every time I tried it with an amount of gold, I got a command not found message. What should I do?

Common mistakes are:
Case-sensitive commands
Not enabling DebugMode properly
Using a non-integer value (like with a comma, for instance)
Not targeting (mouseclick) your PC after the command has been activated [Note:  If you don't target a valid recipient, you cannot retype the command or will get an error.]


That's about all I can think of.  As long as your ini is set for console commands, there should be no problem.  Just make sure to turn off DebugMode when finished issuing commands or your current game can become corrupted.

               Also, don't forget the space between

dm_givegold

and the amount. For example, if I wanted to give a PC 500 gold, I would go to the chat line and enter these lines, clicking on the PC after entering the second line:

##DebugMode 1
##dm_givegold 500
##DebugMode 0

               Thank you.  My mistake was not leaving a space.
