Can't Select "New" or "Load" in NWN DM Client

               Hey all,

I've got NWN plus SoU and HotU and at the moment am playing through NWN original campaign.

I'm at Chapter 2, in Port Llast (before you enter the city of Luskan) and have reached Charwood (well, the South Road) and have entered Wanev's tower. I fought him, but since I'm a sorceror, I fired off a long-lasting spell (something like acid arrow) which, after he had spoken to me and given me his quest (where you have to close the portal in the back room) killed him. I foolishly didn't reload, and kept on going with my campaign, and have now completed the whole of Port Llast.

This now means that I have this unresolved quest, which cannot be completed due to him being dead (and due to my OCD, I cannot let this go XD ).

I read somewhere on the internet that you can revive him using the DM client, and the steps I read were:
1) Save the game (manually, in a new named save sloth)
2) Start the DM client, load your saved game (just don't post it to the internet)
3) Go to the location where you want to speak to him.
4) Spawn him using the DM tools.
5) Save the game again. (second save)
6) Now exit the DM client, an start NWN single player again.
7) Load the second save.

However, when I open up the DM Client in the launcher, I get to the main screen and cannot click on either the "New" button, not the "Load" button.

I was wondering if there was something I needed to do, or change, in order to access my save file and revive this dead NPC.

               Why don't you start the NWServer and use your save game as what you're loading.  Then log in to that with the DMC?

               I see.   The problem here is that you can not start a single player game as a DM.  

Select the Multiplayer option on the screen from your screen shot.

On the next screen that comes up. After loging in.  you will have the otpion to load an internet/lan game.

Okay - I've now logged into the Multiplayer and was about to load up my save game when I get an error message saying "CD Key Unauthorised" or something like that - how do I authorise my CD Key - I do have a genuine CD version of the game (not pirated or anything)?
