I have tried to find documentation for the DMTS but haven't found it yet. There is a lot of in-depth information about what you can do...but not actually how you get it to work...

While the DMFI is pretty well documented...

So for now it is an easy choice still...

Actually there is some documentation on DMTS as well as some training lessons the creator has ran on thier server.  I have a pdf or two on it though small, the scripts and use of them seems very straightforward which is why I perferred them myself. The DMFI though has been used most and for so long it would be like retraining people.

And while I like tsnumai and appluad him for taking on the updates I found it to be a bit cubersome last time when released so that is why I am asking here for people who have used both before I dismiss it as an easy choice.

I haven't compared the two but regardless of which one you decide going with, you should check out the Stage Manager which is one of the tools in the DMTS and which allows you to create, orient and position placeables and then store the spatial information about those placeables and "unpack" them into scenes later.  You can also use the same placeable orientation tools to move around placeables in-game to give, for instance, the effect of one ship pulling alongside another at sea.

If you have CEP 2.3 installed, the PDF for the stage manager is in your docs\\cep folder in your NWN install. (dmts.pdf)

If you haven't used it before and there's nobody there to give a demo it'll probably take all of about 10 minutes to figure out.  The pdf is pretty thorough but once you actually start playing with it you start getting new ideas about how it can be used.  I know there's some threads on the CEP home forums which go into more detail about some of the other aspects of the system.

lol...I understand that Inayity and I can only assume that I am not beign clear as always. I rarely am.

While I have used both and have the pdfs as well I have found that I like one over the other. Now before we try and go one way or the other I was hoping to get soem feedback from Dungeon Masters on other worlds and what they think of it.

Kinda  titfortat thing so I can weigh in the pros and cons in case I missed something or our Staff did. One of those gather all info threads basically.
