Came across this on deviamtArt that a number of people on here may find useful. it is entitled "Marketing Essentials for Character Artists: Audience Building and Personal Branding on Social Media" which is a bit of a mouthful. This 7 page pdf file could be useful for anyone wanting to promote their fan-fiction/persistent world/module/whatever. Ignore the fact that it is written with painters/illustrators in mind the issues addressed are the same across disciplines.
