Any purpose to gems?
« on: August 02, 2015, 12:21:27 am »

Is there anything you can do with typical gems you find as loot?  I know diamonds can be used in crafting, but what about the other types?  Or should they just be sold?

Realistically they should all just be sold -- their only potential purpose is for crafting...and by crafting I mean the dwarf weaponsmith, *you* can't do anything with them.  And he requires specific reagents with specific weapons...and most of his weapons aren't very good regardless.

If you're interested in which items are combined with which weapons, check this page.

You can craft a diamond with something, upgrades a magic item which if no real upgrade to your character's kit can be sold at profit I guess.

MagicalMaster is right about gems. But in Ch1 you can make a good profit from the items that the dwarf weaponsmith makes. Note this is ONLY in Ch.1

Silly that gems in this game is just a trash. Some of them could be a good component for crafring or something like that.
