klauth is saposed to be amongst da oldist and most powaful dragons and dis gorgatha is pretty unknown.

Klauth has 706 HP, 38 AC, and 39 AB.
Gorgotha has 533 HP, 36 AC, and 37 AB.
On top of that, Gorgotha is weaker in almost every way, from spells to level to damage per hit to immunities.
I suggest not to go up against the Golden Dragon because he is even harder than Klauth and there is no way to weaken her like you can do with Klauth.
Yes, she's weaker.
Less hit points.
Less AC.
Less AB.
Less damage.
Less spells (and weaker spells).
Weaker Fear Aura.
My guess is that the article meant to say that fighting Gorgotha is harder than a weakened Klauth and it got garbled up.

It's only the dead dragon sphere that makes Klauth easier. Besides his base stats, he's got a tougher damage reduction, slightly higher spell resistance and immunity to all spells through level 3. A trapper will kill either of them with about the same difficulty, sphere effect or not.... none. '>
