If it's important, 'meaning if it rings the quest bell, it should go get written in your journal. Most of the time... I only read the journal.
I know... But hey, I'm from a foreign country.

I pick up everthing as well. My inventory is organized around this. 1st page my weapons, healing potions, and healing kits. 2nd & 3rd pages quest items. The last 3 pages stuff to sell. I have 2-4 bags of holding on each page so that I don't get encumbered.

Which means 24 bags... in the OC...
You wouldn't happen to be some kind of heavy cheater by any chance, Vampir Drache?
Read my signature list... it's been written for you.

He might have meant he has 2-4 bags per page on the last three inventory pages he is using for loot. I guess that would still be 6-12 bags, but the lower end of that range is easy to come by.

FWIW, without using the console or modding the campaign in any way, any PC will easily find 1 bag of holding and can buy 5 more at various stores, 6 if s/he is a sorcerer or wizard (Vampir Drache has mentioned playing a sorcerer recently). I don't recall if any bags of holding can come up as random treasure. And, of course, Tony K's AI allows an exploit where one can get extra bags (best to install with the large box option, IMO)...

You might be right again, MrZork... '<img'>
Only I remember never "regularly" buying any of those bags in the OC, for being way too poor for them, and primarily targeting gear before anything else with my little money.

My most sincere apologies, Vampir Drache
for calling you maybe too quickly a cheater...
... but only if you are not... '<img'>
Otherwise, welcome to the ':bandit:' club!

Heh, I only know about all the Bag of Holding purchase opportunities because I so often play undermuscled spellcasters who need all the help they can get when lugging around their loot. ;-)

If one imports a character from the OC or SotU (or any module), one has all the Bags of Holding acquired from the previous modules (quite a few from the OC, just a few from SotU).

Even if one is creating a new character for HorU, I think it's completely reasonable to choose equipment appropriate for a 15th level character, to be stolen at the beginning of the module but later joyously recovered by the end of Chapter 1.  That equipment could include several bags of holding.

In the OC and SotU, Bags of Holding (or Magic Bags) are really at the top of the list of gear to buy.  I can't buy that other combat-oriented gear, unless I'm actually able to carry and sell every scrap of treasure I find along the way.

Edit: I forgot we were talking about the OC, not HotU.

I am not a heavy cheater. I bought every bag that I could the 1st time through the game. Then I went to the corpse before the fort. I had to save my character multiple times to this. The extra characters were deleted so that I didn't overload my computer with charaters.
