               I enjoyed playing HotU in multiplayer some years ago and want to do it again. 

1st> Could someone provide a link(s) for the latest recommended fix to do HotU in multiplayer?  The old forum had a sticky HotU MP thread at the top of the forum, but this one doesn't.

2nd> Is there any way to easily modify/remove some of the "uber" treasure (especially 100%immunity items) HotU has in it?  I wouldn't mind going into the editor and doing it myself, but I honestly don't know where every overpowered item is hidden.  I couldn't find anything in the NWNVault so it seems no one else has ever tried to do that?

How handy are you searching with the Wayback Machine?  I suck at it myself but there are some members that are pretty handy finding things there.  Worth a shot ...IMO.

If it's just in shops, it's pretty easy. Just remove them from the merchant inventory and save the module. '<img'> 

If they are spawned by kills, random loot seeds or plot, you would need to change the existing item.  If it is spawned by blueprint rather from the palette, you would need to change the spawn script AFAIK. 

I suppose you could write a module-load or area-load script that destroys them when they are clicked on but would need to identify all the ones you feel are uber and that would be a subjective list depending on what you were trying to accomplish.

edit:  BTW, in my opinion, the singlemost PC overpowering item potential is done with Rizolvir in Chapter 2.  If you could nerf that one feature, it would DRASTICALLY change the challenge in the last 2 chapters.  Compared to the items produced in that section, the uber item seeds are insignificant.

Also, be aware that some classes like clerics and arcanists can achieve equally uber potential without even using those uber items.  That means fooling with game class balance, which is possibly what the HotU designers were trying to address by furnishing non-spell means of achieving similar results for fighters, etc.

               I too am looking for a way to play HotU in multiplayer. I've not had any success, but.. this thread makes me think there's an issue for it? If you have any info or have a link to the old forums where I can look for answers, I'd really appreciate it.
