Dorna Trapsrpinger broken
« on: March 02, 2011, 12:41:15 am »

So I started up SoU for the first time over mp with my friend. Well, we keep running into a pretty serious bug. If both of us die, and respawn; Dorna breaks. She will respawn at the school, lay on the ground for a bit, then get up. When she does, she's completely unresponsive, and we can't figure out how to get her to fix herself. I died once alone, and she respawned with me just fine, but she's broken twice now. Does anyone know a fix using console commands, or something? Pretty major bug we've reproduced twice.

I gave a sugestion over on the GOG boards.  I never heard back if it worked.  You could give it a try.

That command line didn't do anything. I got "function de_setlocalint not found.

Hmm   At first  I thought it was because you used de_ instead of DM.  But you are right I Messed up.    Here is what it should have been:

 ##DebugMode 1
 ##dm_setvarint x0_hen_dor_HIRED 1
-- At this point your pointer should turn to a targeting pointer. target yourself.
 ##DebugMode 0

The command worked this time, but I got nothing. She's still completely unresponsive.

Did you try Shia's suggestion (kill Dorna)?

I tried doing that, and it kept telling I couldn't attack a friendly due to the pvp settings. I tweaked the settings around, but can't kill her because she's unresponsive in the no-pvp school.

There's a way to do it with the Chooser but you may need to use the DM client to use it in the save game.  The Kill button never worked for me in SP.  (There are instructions on how to use the Chooser in the Vanishing Henchmen section of the Henchman solutions sticky of the OC forum.)

I figured it out by having God punch her into oblivion using the dungeon master client, but I will be saving that link for future use. Thanks to both of you for the help.

I just finished SotU.  I had the problem with Dorna, and found this solution on another forum.  It works.

On your talk line, enter the following two lines:

##DebugMode 1
##dm_setvarint NW_ASSOCIATE_MASTER 18961

Then click on Dorna.  After that, on the talk line:

##DebugMode 0
