Camera Scripting help Please?
« on: July 21, 2010, 02:09:48 pm »

               Excuse me?

Can some clever scripter out there please give me a script of this type? (from my explanation)

This
may involve some of Gestalts work, which I have never really been able
to fully understand, no matter how much anyone tried/tries to advise me
on  it! It will always just be a load of confususion to me regardless!!

Anyway, I will explain as best I can, and hope that someone understands what type of script I'm looking for.

It should be quite simple really!
All
I'm looking for.... is a script in which the camera will start, and sit
at a certain height above the ground, for a certain length of time, and
then rise up from that height until a stop point.

If any numbers are used in the script, (I don't know if they have a proper name, but for e.g. - "0,45")
just make them up by guessing. I will sort them out myself afterwards.

THERE! I've said it!..... Simple enough I hope!

If anyone could help me out here, I would be greatful.

Regards,

Edit : Do these new forums have the ability to include scripting tags yet? (i.e. [ nw script] [ / nw script])[nwscript][/nwscript]

I hope they can update this site for something like that in future! It
was very helpful over on the recently deceased Bioware forums! I'm not
sure how posted scripts work for this new site. I hope they do!

Think I finally got something sorted with the particular script I'm currently working on. So just incase anyone ever replies, I probably now don't need much more advice than what I thought I did.

I'll be back in future though, if I get stuck again.
Can't get rid of me that easily. '<img'>

Yeps. I already have that. It's saved as a word document on my hard drive.
I really have to give 100% kudos to the person who made it too.
It's been very handy indeed!

Thanks for posting up though.'<img'>
